About The Founder

Jordan Schafer – Founder, The Impact Project

Jordan Schafer is a retired Major League Baseball athlete whose passion for wellness and performance has extended far beyond the field. Over the course of his MLB career, Jordan played for the Atlanta Braves, Houston Astros, Minnesota Twins, and St. Louis Cardinals. He made history as the 99th player ever to hit a home run in his first career at-bat and served as the Opening Day starting center fielder for three different teams. A high school All-American and University of Notre Dame commit, Jordan was drafted out of high school by the Braves and began a professional journey rooted in discipline, movement, and mindset.

Inspired by his lifelong love for training and firsthand experience growing up in a family that owned an assisted living facility, Jordan founded The Impact Project with a clear mission: to help others live longer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives. He saw early on how regular physical activity and mental stimulation dramatically improved the quality—and often the longevity—of life for older adults.

The Impact Project brings a holistic, thoughtful approach to wellness. By combining elements of movement, cognitive engagement, and joy, Jordan’s program helps others stay active, inspired, and connected.

Jordan believes every individual deserves the opportunity to get the most out of life, and he's dedicated to making that possible through purposeful, personalized programming that truly makes an impact.
